Fire protection forms an absolutely critical part of construction. The many services offered range from the supply and installation of fire doors to partitions and general fire stopping.
Fire Doors – many sizes and finishes are available from 30 to 60 to 90 minute Fire Protection. The doors can also be fitted with DDA compliant vision panels.
Partitions can also provide Fire protection whether they are manufactured from Plasterboard/Glass or a composite material
Fire Stopping can be carried out throughout a Building to ensure all relevant gaps/cable and pipe penetrations are sealed - this is probably the most common non compliant issue we find during Survey.
Sometimes the Building hasn’t been completed properly and inspected prior to “sign off” and some issues are caused by a lack of care from Contractors installing Pipes/cables etc after the building has been completed and signed off.
Every Contractor has a duty of care to inform the Client of any damaged or missing Fire stopping/barrier etc.
